(Part Time Coach)

A Level III coach from United Kingdom Cricket Coaching Certificate, Ravi has been a first class player himself as a wicket keeper and an opening batsman with an average above 50. A professional coach with Northumberland Cricket Board, Stocksfield Cricket Club, and was also involved in the “Chance to shine”, a scheme backed by UK Government to encourage children in schools to play cricket in conjunction with the English Cricket Board (ECB).

His experience of cricket has been dictated by many years of coaching at different levels in clubs in India and UK (both elementary and secondary), County school squads and Northumberland Women Cricket Team.

The vast experience, he has gained over the last 20 years has led him to have full understanding of the game. He understands the need for physical fitness, structured pre-match warm ups, post match cool downs and a good training regime. Ravi utilizes every opportunity to emphasis the importance of physical fitness to the juniors.

He believes that possible efforts should be done to give every individual the chance to improve by identifying any issues they need to work on, and how they think, can actually address the issues.
